CycleBar Scripps Ranch is operated by MINKA FIT LLC. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to MINKA FIT LLC, doing business as CycleBar Scripps Ranch.MINKA FIT LLC is the registered legal entity operating the SMS messaging program described below, and is the data controller for personal information collected through our websites and forms.
This Privacy Policy describes how MINKA FIT LLC (d/b/a CycleBar Scripps Ranch) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through https://cyclebarscrippsranch.com and our booking subdomain at https://ride.cyclebarscrippsranch.com. Information we collect
When you submit a form on our website (for example, to claim an intro offer or request a class booking), we collect:
- First name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Information about the offer you're requesting
- Marketing source data (UTM parameters from the link or ad that brought you to the page)
How we use your information
- Send you the booking link for the offer you selected
- Send class reminders before your scheduled rides
- Send post-class follow-ups
- Send occasional promotional offers from CycleBar Scripps Ranch
- Respond to your customer service inquiries
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing
SMS messaging
We collect two separate SMS consents on our lead form, each via its own unchecked-by-default checkbox (no SMS consent is bundled with Privacy/Terms acceptance):
- Transactional SMS consent — collected via a required, separate, unchecked-by-default checkbox on our lead form labeled "I consent to receive transactional text messages from CycleBar Scripps Ranch including my booking link, class reminders, and customer-service responses…" You must actively check this box for the form to submit. Transactional SMS includes: the booking link for the offer you selected, class reminders before scheduled rides, booking confirmations, post-class feedback requests, no-show recovery messages within the service window, and customer-service responses.
- Marketing SMS consent — collected via a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox on the same form (labeled "(Optional) Yes, also send me promotional offers and discounts…"). Marketing messages include promotional offers, drip nurture campaigns, membership conversion pitches, and re-engagement messages. You will not receive marketing SMS unless you actively check this box; checking is optional and is not a condition of using our service or receiving transactional messages.
Agreement to this Privacy Policy and our Terms is collected via click-wrap in the disclosure above the submit button on the lead form ("By clicking [the submit button] you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms"), not via a separate checkbox.
Marketing emails (promotional offers via email) are sent to anyone who provides an email address through our forms and may be opted out at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every message.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages from this number.
Help: Reply HELP for our brand identification and contact phone number.
Message frequency: Varies based on your engagement, typically 2–10 messages per month.
Carrier charges: Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
No third-party sharing of SMS data: Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share data only with service providers (such as Twilio for SMS delivery) that operate our SMS program under contractual obligations to protect your information.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers we use to operate our business — including Twilio (SMS delivery), ClubReady (booking and member management), Meta and Google (advertising measurement) — under contracts that require them to protect your information.
- Legal requirements if compelled by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as you remain a customer or prospect and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing scrippsranch@cyclebar.com.
